On the song, Séa Byrne says: “This track is about reclaiming power after silence and shame. It’s for anyone who’s been made to feel less than, and who’s ready to take back their voice. It’s a reckoning, but also a celebration of survival. It’s a very cathartic song and in the studio when we nailed the vocal I remember laughing out loud as I had captured the relief from singing from a place of power. I was going to leave the chuckle at the end but took it out on the last edit. It’s up to the listener to interpret the song depending on where they are emotionally in their process of self empowerment.”
