FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: GUADALAJARA, MÉXICO — 01 May 2026

Séa Byrne Releases “Hope in Your Heart” — A Three-Act Indie Rock Anthem Inspired to Completion by the Story of Palestinian Musician Ahmed Abu Amsha, In Aid of Save the Children.

Irish artist Séa Byrne releases powerful new single challenging global indifference — a song that sat unfinished until the story of one man on a beach in Gaza provided its missing message of hope. Available now on all platforms, with Bandcamp purchases going to Save the Children.

Irish indie rock artist Séa Byrne today releases “Hope in Your Heart”, a three-act anthem that moves from the rubble of a warzone through a biting satirical portrait of western indifference, to a soaring rallying cry for musicians everywhere. The single is available on all major streaming platforms and as a pay-what-you-want download at seabyrne.bandcamp.com/track/hope-in-your-heart, with all Bandcamp purchases going to Save the Children.

The song’s origin is as extraordinary as its subject matter. Byrne began writing “Hope in Your Heart” in Guadalajara, México, overwhelmed by the relentless tide of global conflict, war crimes, and human suffering playing out on screens across the world. The first two sections took shape quickly — Act One placing the listener inside the terror of a warzone; Act Two, delivered as darkly satirical spoken word, skewering a billionaire class hoarding wealth while wars burn and a western world scrolling past destruction to place another online order. But the song stalled. It had truth. It had anger. What it could not find was hope.

That changed the day Byrne saw Ahmed Abu Amsha on television. It wasn’t Ahmed who completed the song — it was his story. Watching him play guitar and teach music to children on that beach, Byrne found what the song had been searching for: hope.

A Palestinian musician, composer, and music educator, Abu Amsha is the founder of Gaza Birds Singing — a group of displaced children and teachers who have continued making music throughout the conflict in Gaza. Displaced over ten times since October 2023, his two homes and recording studio destroyed, Abu Amsha has been teaching music to children and adults on a beach in Nuseirat beneath a parachute canopy fashioned from aid-drop materials, using instruments built from salvaged parts — guitar strings made from bicycle cables, flutes fashioned from plastic pipes.

His story was the hope the song had been searching for. Act Three was written and completed that same day.

“With your voice and guitar, yeah you made a difference with your commitment.”

“Hope In Your Heart” is ultimately a global call: that in a fractured world, the most revolutionary act is to get back up, keep playing, keep teaching, and bring peace and love back into the world. Produced and mixed in México by Daniel Aceves and Carlos “Charlie” Santana.

Here’s to all the musicians out there — it’s time for us to bring back hope.

ABOUT SÉA BYRNE

Séa Byrne is an Irish indie rock artist based in Guadalajara, México, who writes from the fault lines — where personal grief meets global crisis, where dark satire meets stubborn hope. Produced and mixed in México by Daniel Aceves and Carlos “Charlie” Santana, “Hope In Your Heart” is a song that almost didn’t get finished — and was completed in a single day when the story of Palestinian musician Ahmed Abu Amsha provided its missing message of hope. seabyrne.com

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Guadalajara, México — 13 February 2026

Irish artist Séa Byrne unveils his 16th single and 24th release overall, Clayface — an explosive, freeform alt-rock anthem that confronts the pessimism and nihilism creeping through modern society and blasts through it with raw, transformative energy.

Released Friday, February 13, 2026 as Byrne’s first offering of the new year, Clayface is the fifth track in his bold sonic reinvention since debut album Blue Skies. Where that record showcased tropical indie warmth, Byrne has evolved into edgier alt-rock territory — fully coming into his own with a second album on the horizon that promises to be his true Empire Strikes Back moment.

Produced by @dan_electro_x (Daniel Acevedo) in Guadalajara and co-produced, mixed and mastered by @prosantana.mx (Carlos “Charlie” Santana) in Puerto Vallarta, México, the track abandons verse-chorus structure for stream-of-consciousness urgency — Byrne’s own Ulysses.

“We’re surrounded by bitterness and spite — people desperate for safe spaces to escape the exhausting performance of saving face,” says Byrne. “Music has been my lifeline through those rough moments and impossible people. Clayface is about breaking through that darkness to reach something true: when music becomes your light, there’s nothing in this world you can’t handle. That’s not optimism — that’s survival transformed into strength.”

With driving drums and pulsing guitars, the track builds into a relentless mantra before detonating into cathartic release. It’s visceral alt-rock at its most uncompromising — proving that sonic fury and emotional honesty can shatter even the heaviest atmosphere of collective disillusionment.

Recommended for fans of Radiohead, IDLES, James Blake, and Fontaines D.C. Clayface is available to download and stream from Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Bandcamp, and all major platforms.

Close up as Séa Byrne dresed as Pagliacci the clown looking serious

I’m proud to announce my new single What You Lost will be released on August 1, 2025.

This one’s about taking your power back.

It’s for anyone who’s ever had to rebuild themselves after being silenced, shamed, or diminished. What You Lost moves through pain—not to dwell in it, but to reclaim what was taken. Voice. Confidence. Truth. It’s about naming the damage, standing in the light of it, and walking forward with nothing hidden.

“Make them wade through the pain that they caused you /
They can’t save you the pain that they gave /
Take back what you lost”

What You Lost – Séa Byrne, 2025

Lyrically it’s a reckoning—raw, rhythmic, layered with resolve. There’s fire in it. But there’s healing too. The song unfolds from reflection to reclamation, showing that change isn’t always soft—it can be bold, even confrontational.
