Guadalajara, México. 31 July 2026. Be Free, the new single from Irish singer-songwriter Séa Byrne, is a summer song about sticking together. The sun comes back. So do they.
He asks for a lot in it: freedom, feeling, survival, the pure life, second chances and, while he’s at it, cash advances. Leaving gets floated twice, and twice gets the same answer: we could, but why? There’s nothing else better than this love to try.

Byrne’s recent singles Liberation and What You Lost both reached #1 on the AltQ Top 20. His May release Hope in Your Heart, inspired by Palestinian musician Ahmed Muin Abu Amsha, continues to raise funds for Save the Children.
